News via social media has become one if not the main source of news and information for the younger generations who rely so heavily on electronics  With just a hook to pull you in, and one click you can learn everything you need to know about the latest that’s going on in the world. Whether you're scrolling through social media or looking on a website, with just clicks you can open a whole new world of information... just like these News Leads with Story Links found on Twitter.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is releasing a workout playlist in partnership with Spotify. "The goal in this Spotify partnership was t support [the] new Project Rock apparel launch by giving Dwayne's audiences as close an experience as possible to his personal training session in the Iron Paradise." This playlist was created to give his customers the all around experience, and share a little more about himself with his fans.

 For just some fun and entertainment Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick posted a video about the webs most searched questions. Working together on the set of "A Simple Favor", these costars just decided to unwind and film a silly video together, answering questions that had been googled from their name. They spill secrets and share jokes, just to give their fans a laugh. 

Bringing it a little closer to home Mulerider sports posted about their Student-Athletes that were Honored by the D2 ADA for Academic Achievement. Fifty-Six athletes were honored for having above a 3.5 grade point average after completing a minimum of two years of college level work. Each athlete worked diligently to make our school proud.

 What does it mean to you? Growing up the news was always something that "old people" did, it never really made much sense to me. My parents had it on every morning like clock work, and I would listen off and on as I got ready for school. I never took any of the information heart other than I could use some of the blurbs I heard to sound "cool" on the playground. However, as I grow, mature, begin working, and go to school, I can finally see the importance of that noise in the background on my school mornings.  News   is defined to us in the dictionary as " newly received or noteworthy information, especially about recent or important events.
